Joy Division - “She’s Lost Control” (BBC, 9/15/1979)

Man. Fucking rock and roll. What can you say?

If you get a chance to see the JD documentary, do it. It’s just terrific.

It’s where, 8 minutes ago, I learned that (as I recall we also learn in 24HPP) yes, this is a song about an epileptic client of Curtis’s who’d died — but, what I didn’t know was that he wrote it about her before his own crippling seizures started.

Gripping stuff. Really wonderful, well edited, beautifully told movie.
