I’m thrilled to be voting for someone who even has articulate “gaffes.”

Although it long ago became unfashionable (even, mean?) to say so: I really miss having a head of state who understands what words mean and who chooses to employ bold clusters of them in the service of full English sentences and paragraphs.

It’s far from unpatriotic to say we deserve that.
