Metallica - “Fade to Black” (Live, 1985)
From the Cliff ‘Em All! DVD. Long fiddly part that kicks in around 4:30 is total Bonerville. While Kirk’s more chromatic-y solos ain’t always my cup of tea, the song itself’s just so great that I don’t mind the clams so much. Also, I’m a giant sucker for the twin guitar attack in fifths.
