  1. 2007-01-09 Before the Twitter. Before the prototyping. Before The Aristocrats. Before the Kottkeblogging. Before the Don Draper. Before the Estelle Getty. Before the noises rested. Before all of that intimacy of my properly knowing The Sandwich, there was the meeting of The Sandwich at Macworld 2007. Regrettably, I remember very little about this particular night; I was, to use a term from internal medicine, staggeringly drunk. But, I do treasure this picture. Because, it’s like Elvis meeting Nixon. And, Leo Laporte. Who, I’m pretty sure was who Sandy really wanted to meet. Which is fine and totally understandable. But, again, I kind of can’t remember. Still. Nice photo.
