Oh, man, this is just terrific.
In a city where Kafka-esque bureaucracy and unbelievable outlays of cash await anybody with the temerity to want a decent education and a little joy for their kid, we learn there’s a nursery school co-op not too far from our ‘hood. (Yes, Monteiro; San Francisco does go even further West than where we live. Unbelievably.)
How awesome that this gentleman made this wonderfully tear-jerking video from a song about the school performed by one student’s very talented Mom.
We’ll definitely be looking at what we can do to work with these folks. It’s only humane little projects like this that make this insanely unreasonable town seem a little more sane and reasonable.
Plus, Ellie loves guitars.
