  2. Avengers Origins: Vision (One-Shot)

Man, I love this book. Would like to see more art by Stephane Perger. So gorgeous.

  3. "Everything you EVER wanted to know about THE AVENGERS movie" by Todd Alcott

You think you know exhaustive? Friend, you don’t know from exhaustive.

This is a Siracusa-class tour de force—a kind of ersatz “Screenwriter’s Commentary” of The Avengers from a fella who obviously knows a thing or two about how good movie-stories get put together.

Me? I love this movie. But, sure, I can totally respect why some folks don’t. And, if you are one of this film’s numerous and vocal non-fans, I highly doubt that this article will magically reverse your opinion. And, that’s okay.

But, clocking in at over fourteen-thousand (14,000) words, I’d still say this particular epic exegesis of a narrative is well worth a read for any fan of movies, comics, or the surprisingly complex mechanics of telling a story with economy and flair.

    Very nicely done, Mr. Alcott.

  5. “Let me put you on hold.”

Sweet Maui Onion, I do love this scene.

Yeah, I like Hawkeye okay, but of The Avengers’s “Mostly-Normal People Without Special Suits, Super Anger, or Magical Asgardian Whatever,” Black Widow totally steals the show.

  6. The Mandrill Thing

    For Joel Benjamin and family.

  7. The Avengers - “Hulk smashes Loki”

I can watch this over and over.

Hate that goddamned Loki. Hate him.
